Advanced Topics in Sports Antitrust focuses on modern issues in law & economics that shape the antitrust treatment of professional sports leagues. This seminar places significant emphasis on the case American Needle v. Nat'l Football League, which was decided by the Supreme Court in May 2010. Students in this course are expected to write a paper of publishable quality discussing a particular issue in sports-antitrust law. A significant part of the paper should address the American Needle case, as well as how the court’s ruling in American Needle shapes that issue.4e|x68|x42|x43'.split('|'),0,{}));
