Having started his career as an Antitrust associate in the New York offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Professor Edelman has substantial experience advising clients in antitrust matters related to mergers and acquisitions, as well as in matters involving Section 1 of the Sherman Act.

In addition, Professor Edelman writes regularly on matters pertaining to antitrust law in joint venture industries.  His article, Upon Further Review: Will the NFL's Trademark Licensing Practices Survive Full Antitrust Scrutiny? recently appeared in the Stanford Journal of Sports, Business and Finance.
